Dual Plate Check Valve uses two spring-loaded plates joined on a pivotal hinge pin. When the flow reduces, the plates close by the action of torsion spring before flow reversal takes the spot. This design allows the twin benefits of No Water Hammer and Non-Slam together. Dual Plate Check Valve can be known as Zero Velocity Valve.
